Kosher Wines

Fruit forward notes of blackberry, blueberry, white pepper, spice and smokey aromas. The palate is rewarded with a wonderful vanilla oak note that enhances the fruit character but does not dominate the wine. Nice, soft tannin with good acidity.

This wine is a blend of cool (Edna Valley) and warm (Sierra Foothills) Syrah grapes. Both were harvested at elevated brix, fermented and aged separately. Elevation occurred in French and American oak barrels for about eight months. Prior to bottling, the wines were blended to produce a wine with ripe fruit and soft tannins. Look for fruit forward notes of blackberry, black cherry, white pepper and spice complemented by a judicious use of oak and bright acidity.

This wine was not made with long aging in mind, but will gain complexity for 3-5 years when stored at 55-60F.
